My home life was pretty average, child of divorced parents split between two homes. It was all cool, two Christmases, two birthdays, the whole deal--and then my dad met his new wife and nothing else was the same. Losing my dad to that new woman is probably what pushed me to go out on my own. Me and Cassie moved out and have been doing pretty well ever since. I've made some friends with band members and up-and-coming authors. It seems that life is going to be pretty good for us.
